An ASIN Data API alternative you don't have to subscribe to.
ASIN Data API is a Traject Data product, and Traject Data is now part of ScraperAPI — asindataapi.com redirects into their site, which carries a ScraperAPI copyright. Plans start at a $19 monthly plan with an unconditional 14-day money-back — a credit allowance that renews each billing cycle, card checkout through Lemon Squeezy, cancel anytime. Subscribers can add top-ups at their tier's rate, usable over 90 days. Either way, one call answers product search and per-ASIN lookups from a maintained warehouse in under 100 milliseconds, with price, seller and BSR history in the same response. Try the live demo and time it yourself.

Their list prices are taken from the published ASIN Data API plan table and were checked on 4 August 2026; their tiers are billed annually. Credits are not identical units across the two APIs — a warehouse product lookup costs 0.5 credits here and a product request costs one credit there — so the table compares the published price per 1,000 credits, which is the unit both of us bill in. Fair is fair on coverage: they reach Amazon India and we do not.
What the ScraperAPI acquisition changes.
Traject Data — which builds ASIN Data API, Rainforest API and BlueCart API — was acquired by ScraperAPI in 2026. ScraperAPI has said the Traject APIs are moving onto its own infrastructure and billing, so that customers manage everything from a single account. The standalone asindataapi.com now redirects to the Traject site, and that site carries a ScraperAPI copyright notice.
That is a normal thing for a company to do after an acquisition, and it may well work out fine for the people using it. It is also the moment when it costs you the least to check what else is available, because you are going to be looking at your integration and your bill anyway.
We are independently owned, we have run our own extraction infrastructure since 2013, and our pricing is on the pricing page rather than behind a sales conversation.
Migration is a schema map.
Send us the ASIN Data API request types you use — product, offers, search — and the fields you actually consume. We will map them onto our endpoints, hand you a key, and you can run both APIs side by side until you are satisfied. Most integrations swap over in an afternoon; the response shapes are close and ours is smaller.
What a product response includes.
One ASIN in, the full record out — /v1/product.
- Current snapshot Price, BSR, rating, review count, stock state, UPC, parent ASIN, brand stats — and Amazon's own "bought in past month" figure where it publishes one.
- Every seller, in the same call The full live offer list is standard, not a separate endpoint: seller name and ID, price, FBA and Prime flags, feedback score, and buy-box days. Gathering offers is the slow part of any live scrape, which is why most APIs bill them separately.
- Price and stock history The full price series plus price-change and stock-change events, in the base call.
-
Rank history, per category
Add
bsr_history=truefor daily rank in every category the product sits in, back to Oct 2023 on Amazon US. Half a credit on top. -
Seller history — who held the buy box, and when
Add
offer_history=truefor a buy-box timeline plus a per-seller price series, each with first seen, last seen and buy-box days. Half a credit on top. -
Warehouse or live scrape — your call
mode=cacheanswers in under 100ms for one credit.mode=livescrapes the listing on demand when it has to be current. Failed scrapes are never billed.
Eleven Amazon marketplaces plus US Walmart, in one schema.
